The Wedding Highlights of Erika and Mark, filmed at Highclere Castle

Erika and Mark had a Civil Ceremony in the Saloon at the Castle, which is physically and socially the Heart of the House. It is designed in a Gothic Style and the genuine Leather Wall Coverings were brought back from Spain and date back to 1862.

The Wedding Breakfast was held in the double Library, which is Home to 5,650 Books with the earliest dating back to the 16th Century. Highclere is a spectacular Victorian Castle set among 1,000 Acres of Parkland and has been in the Carnarvon Family since 1679. Today it is Home to the current (8th) Earl and Countess of Carnarvon who remain closely involved with its day to day Life and Future.
