Graffiti Photo Shoot & Aviator Wedding
Sorry everyone, it’s been a while, I know, but wedding season has now well and truly kicked off. Last time I reported I’d been filming at Wokefield Park in Berkshire, this time I was back in Surrey at a new wedding venue, the Aviator Hotel in Farnborough and I was off to film the wedding of Lynsey and Chris. Lynsey is the daughter of the famous Keith Thompson of Studio Rouge, one of the UK’s top wedding photographers for over 20 years, and is also a very successful wedding photographer in her own right – she happens to be the youngest ever Fellow in the British Institute of Professional Photographers. She now runs her own business – Rouge Amour.
Lynsey and Chris held their church service at St John the Evangelist in Woodley and after the ceremony all the guests were given a little parcel of jam sandwiches, crisps and a beautiful cup cake – LOVELY!!! Mr Vis-a-Video was with me and I was multi-tasking as guest and videographer, but Peter and I didn’t really get a chance to sample the snacks – but Simon made up for that by having both ours! After the church ceremony we stopped off at a secret location for a funky photo shoot:
Keith managed to get Stuart Bebb, Neil Horne and Gary & Sue Williams to photograph her wedding. It got very busy trying to break through the ranks, this is what happens when you film a photographer’s daughter’s wedding with four togs (one was behind me!):
Following on from Farnborough, Peter and I then headed back to Great Fosters in Egham to film the wedding of Kasia & Mark, a Jewish-Polish affair, plus another chance to work with David Ward who I have not seen since January last year when we both worked together. Finally at the end of May, we were filming back at Highclere Castle to video the wedding of Lisa and Aaron and this time Lynsey was back on the other side of the lens, being my wedding photographer for the day with Chris as tog’s assistant. Couldn’t believe they’d been and come back from their honeymoon already!! Welcome back, it’s great working with you again!! x
