Wedding Video – Notley Abbey – Haddenham – Near Thame
On Sunday we left Oxford and drove over to Notley Abbey to film the wedding of Jennifer and Morgan. It was a glorious September morning and with only a 30 minute drive after filming the birthday party in Oxford we even had time to stop off for a full English breakfast before a day’s filming. This was my first time out with Ines, as mostly I am based in the office looking after the website, blog, and answering the telephone, and boy does she put some hard work in filming these weddings up and down the country.
We arrived at 12:30 and had a few hours to get set-up and also film some footage of this beautiful wedding venue, Notley Abbey is a unique combination of the new and the very old. Grade 1 listed and a Scheduled Ancient Monument dating back to the 12th century it is also a glorious 21st century home. I would recommend visiting their web site for further information, or click on the photo below to be taken to their Wedding Venues section of their web site
Ines also got chance to meet up with the Wedding Photographers of the day, who are Julie and Martyn from Confettishots , this was the first time Vis-à-Video and Confettishots worked together on a wedding and it worked out magic between Wedding Videographer and Photographer.
I hope we get chance to work with Julie and Martyn in the near future, and would recommend having a trip over to their web site to view samples of their Wedding Photographers.
Notley Abbey is steeped in history , perhaps most famous as the marital home of Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh but also the site of a 12c Abbey, so if you are looking for the picture perfect wedding venue in buckinghamshire then look no further than Notely Abbey.
As I was not down on the list of suppliers to eat on the day, I must give a big thank you to Maris from Bijou Wedding for providing me with a meal on the day
